New Semester

The new semester has officially started that means that every body gets a new chance to start their grade all over again. So if you miss the very first assignment then you will start the new semester with an F. But if you complete the first assignment you start off the semester with an A. This is so fun huh.

Rain Tomorrow

The weather says that it is going to rain tomorrow well if it does then we will cancel our turkey bowl again. And if we postpone it one more they are going to take it away for ever, because we already postponed it three times. How messed up is that why school postpone it on days that are going to rain. Oh well I guess we have to hope for the best.

PSAT Results

Today right after second period I have to report to room eight because we are going to get the results for our practice SAT. I probably did so good I am going to get in to Stanford no I'm just kidding but who knows maybe I did. If I get a good score then I will go around showing every body but if i do bad I will keep it to my self.

Turkey Bowl Back On

Well it has been decided for sure the turkey is now on February 6 wether it's raining or not. I guess that they decided to make it on february 6 because of the SUPER BOWL. And the super bowl is going to be on February 1 Sunday so make sure to by your chips and your soda and go to church really early so you don't miss any of it. This super bowl is going to have the Steelers vs Cardinals.

Oath of Office

On Wednesday the 21st president Obama was sworn into office a second time because during the first oath the word faithfully messed up the inauguration. They believe that since he did not say the oath correctly that he should not of became president. But president Obama would of became president any way regardless if he said the oath or not because in the constitution it says he becomes president at noon. But Obama did it any way rather be safe than sorry.

Grades

You know it is almost the end of the semester and the teachers are about to put in their grades so they are giving the students a lot of test and assignments. I am pretty sure that the grades need to be turned in next friday. So I recomened to students that not to slack off right now because this report card is our permanent one. I know one teacher actually all that assigned their an English that had to be no less than 700 words.

Welcome Back

Well the winter break is over and it is now time to go back to school man I just wanted to stay home and sleep until noon. Actually yesterday we returned to school but our internet was not working so instead of me writing this article yesterday we were just playing computer games. Although I know that the eighth graders still have some work to do because all the eighth grade English classes were assigned a very important research paper that is due at the end of January so get to writing eighth graders.

Canceled Already

Today it is Thursday the 18th the day before the last day of school after we take off for winter break and it's also the day before our Snow bowl. And already the school board decided to cancell it already it has been canceled before because of the rain. It's really odd because today it is sunny and last night it was snowing. But it looks like we are just going to have to wait and see what the weather will be like tomorrow.

Patriots vs Dolphins

It was a good game it was the New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins and it was a straight out massacre as the New England Patriots beat the Miami Dolphins 48-28. I mean the Patriots just had them beat since the beginning of the game, the Dolphins may scored a touchdown every quarter but the Patriots were scoring more two touchdowns every quarter. And these games were the finals so these were the most important games if you lost then your out. But it's okay because I wanted the Patriots to win, and they didn't disappoint me so I guess I came out on top. Yeah but over all it was a good game and both teams played well, but the Patriots were victorious.

Giants vs Eagles

It was the Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants and this was a good game I mean it was so close but in the end it was the New York Giants who took the win. If you saw this game you would of been amazed by both of the team's effort, but the Giants had this game in the bag with a win of 36-31the eagles were only 5 points away. Both teams got touch downs every quarter but it looked like the eagles were enable to get those field goals. well based on the past games it looks like the Giants have just been dominating the eagles. But both teams should be proud for giving up a good game.

Eagles vs Ravens

It was the Philadelphia Eagles @ Baltimore Ravens and this game was a straight out blow out massacre. The Eagles were beat so bad by the Ravens as the score of the game was 36-7 Ravens-Eagles. I mean the Eagles at no point made an effort to try to win this game, nobody scored in the the first quarter but the other three Ravens scored every time. I bet that all the Eagle fans in the stands were very disappointed to watch their team get dragged through the mud. But this was a great game for the Baltimore Ravens.

COLD!!!!!!

I don't if you guys have noticed the cold weather I think it's only happening in Granada Hills. The weather is freezing cold and our gym class had to run in the morning when it was the most cold it felt like chest was literaly frozen. And now I have a cough from getting all that cold air in my chest. So I hope all you guys brought sweaters or else you are going to be frozen the whole day trust me I didn't bring one. The temperature must be at least 40 degrees because even my leg hair is standing up. I sure hope that it doesn't continue like this for the whole week but if it does I'll be ready.

Pacquiao vs De La Hoya

On Saturday December 6 two of the best champions fought it out in the boxing ring one on one. This boxing match was featuring Oscar De La Hoya vs Manny Pacquiao. The only available way to see the match was directly from pay per view, it coasted $60 to get the match on your T.V. but I hardly think it was worth it. The winner was Manny Pacquioa he ended up beating Oscar De La Hoya in the eighth round by T.K.O.. The only good hits Oscar got were in the 5th round but overall Pacquiao was just to quick for him. This fight did a whole lot of damage to Oscar's left eye maybe nexttime he should put up a better fight.

Free Shirt Day

Our school; Robert Frost Middle School is having this can food drive to send to our troops fighting in the war. The administrators say that if our school reaches the limit of four thousand cans we will win a free shirt day. Unfortunately a free shirt day for our school is a big thing because we have a big dress code thing were we can only were a certain color of Polo shirts and a certain color of Dickie pants. This free shirt day will occur on the day of our Winter dance which is the seventeenth of December. So remember to bring in those cans people, if you want a free shirt day so you can look good at the dance.

Field Trip

Finally, we are going to have a field trip usually when you leave elementary school you never get any more field trips. It's cool though because our teacher doesn't have an idea on where we are going to go so she is letting us give her some ideas. Only two classes are going to go on this field trip and those classes are our class; Journalism and Ms.Sonne's class; Yearbook. I don't what the teachers have in mind but I am going to try to convince them into going to the Dragon Palace in Hollywood. But people know that place as the original Mann theater.

Cyber Bullying

Pretty soon their will be a new law going about harassing something on the internet such as websites likes; myspace or AOL. This will be come a new law because an old lady was impersonating to be a fourteen year old boy and started harassing a fourteen year old girl. It turns out that the innocent girl new the old lady's granddaughter but then they got into a big fight. And so the old lady Pretended to be boy who likes the 14 year old girl on myspace as a dis and as soon as the girl started to like him back the grandma told her that the place would be a better place with out her. And in result she killed herself. But it was known that the girl had a very low self of steam and the grandma's message pushed her over the edge.

Turkey Bowl Post poned

Well thanks to the rain on November 26 our Turkey bowl was though to be canceled but now the school has received word that the game will just be postponed. But the game will not be postponed to next day, the school is going to postpone it until the last day before we take off for Winter break. And that day will be December 19, 2008 in two weeks. So now we have to wait fourteen days to play just because it sprinkles a little bit on day of it. I mean so the grassfield was a little wet and muddy but that's what football is all about, who doesn't like to watch people slip all over the place.

Coming Back

It is December 1 2008 and we all have just came back from our Thanksgiving break and are now in school. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast, because now we are back and ready to learn. It was to bad that our Turkey Bowl was canceled right before the Thanksgiving break I mean that was the whole point of the TURKEY bowl. Now we have to get ready for doing homework and going to bed not late. I know the teachers are going to give us test because we are now working on our semester report card. But only two more weeks before our Winter break.

Turkey Bowl CANCELED

Due the weather the turkey has been canceled I mean it's not raining so the grass is a little slippery but that's what football is all about. But our counselors think that it might be dangerous but only the football players will be slipping and it will be really fun. I don't even think it's raining any more. Oh well the good thing is that today is the last day of school before we take off for Thanksgiving break.
